Summary of project:
Reach Learning Disability is a Nottinghamshire based charity supporting 200 people with learning disabilities each week on a regular basis and a further 200 annually through short outreach courses. We support our clients to learn new skills, feel more confident, and make new social connections. We run 40+ courses and activities from our bases in Newark, Mansfield and Southwell, our Flower Pod horticultural social enterprise, and community venues that enable our clients to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to make a better quality of life. We also run a separately managed domiciliary care support agency - Reach Learning Disability Care Ltd CIC.
As part of the project, we will look to:
- Respond to changes in funding, assessment processes and demographic changes by reviewing and better defining our target populations/service users and how they access our services.
- Develop an overall management framework that helps us focus on ensuring our current approaches are more systematic and consistent across the organisation, enabling us report on our impact at an organisational level and which learn from our current practices.
- Embed the data we generate in way that better drives our performance at individual, team, management and board levels.
- Produce our first annual Impact Report to provide a wider view of what we achieve as an organisation for service users.
